Quest NBS and CIMSPA conference 'will be biggest ever'

The 2017 conference of Sport England's leading quality scheme for sport and leisure is expected to be its biggest ever, following a venue change.
For the second year running, the quality scheme Quest and its sister initiative the National Benchmarking Service (NBS) have partnered with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) to host a joint two-day conference.
The Quest NBS and CIMPSA Conference will take place on 14 and 15 March at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth, Warwick. It is a significantly larger venue than the Loughborough site where the Quest NBS Conference - which ran as a standalone event before joining forces with CIMPSA last year - has been held since its inception in 2010.
"The conference has been so successful, and demand for places is now so great, that for the past three years we have quickly sold out and have had to turn many people away," says Quest operations director Caroline Constantine. "Chesford Grange is not only a state-of-the-art venue in a stunning setting, but it also has a much greater capacity than our previous venue. As a result, we expect this year's Quest NBS Conference to be our biggest ever, with upwards of 400 delegates."
The Quest NBS Conference will take place on Tuesday 14 March and the CIMSPA Conference will take place on Wednesday 15 March. Bridging the two days will be an evening reception and networking event, including presentations of Quest, NBS and CIMPSA awards.
Delegates can choose to sign up for one or both days and/or the evening reception. The first day is open to anyone interested in Quest and NBS, whether already in the scheme or simply considering it, while the second day is open to anyone with an interest in CIMSPA's work.
The Quest NBS day will explore the theme, "Why Bother Investing in Quality?", and will include updates from Sport England, Quest and NBS, as well as guest speakers and a choice of round table sessions. The CIMPSA day will also feature a mix of updates, speakers and breakout options.
Early bird tickets for all three events cost £190 plus VAT per person. Alternatively, one day costs £80 plus VAT per person, including lunch, while the evening reception costs £30 plus VAT per person. Early booking is advised.
